Cataract Evaluation

A cataract is a clouding of the eye's natural lens that gradually affects clarity, contrast and night vision. It is most often age-related but can also follow injury, long-term steroid use or occur from birth. Worldwide, cataract remains the leading cause of reversible vision loss, which is why an unhurried evaluation—covering glare sensitivity, night-vision difficulty and how the change is affecting daily life—matters as much as the diagnosis itself.
